Chalcedony
A fine-grained, waxy-looking form of quartz, found in soft white, grey, blue and lilac tones. Hardness 6.5–7.
In tradition: Chalcedony has been carved into cameos, seals and beads since the Bronze Age.
Care: Wipe with a soft dry cloth; keep away from perfume and harsh cleaners.
